Mason Czekala graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology from the University of Wisconsin Steven’s Point and has 10 years of experience in behavioral health. Mason has experience working in group homes, after school programs and case management. Mason has experience working with various behavioral health issues with clients ranging from children to adults.

Mason started with San Tan BHS in 2021 as a support staff. At the end of 2024 Mason took over as Co-Manager of the Therapeutic Recreation program. Mason works alongside the Therapeutic Recreation Program staff to ensure the best quality of care is being provided to our clients.

Mason has a large background in sports and has experience coaching football and basketball at the elementary and high school level. Mason played football at the collegiate and semi-professional level. Mason was able to play one season in the Indoor Football League with the Green Bay Blizzard. Mason has a continued love for sports and enjoys getting to engage with our client’s during program.
