Raquel Ramierez

MS, MFT

For more than 20 years, I have had the privilege of supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate life challenges and emotional difficulties. I initially began working in the law-enforcement field supporting a population struggling to navigate and thinking patterns resulting in poor choices and negative circumstances.

After receiving my graduate degree, I felt transitioning to a more therapeutic role in behavioral health was naturally the next step.

I have facilitated psychoeducational groups focused on domestic violence, substance abuse, anger management, and offender-focused programming, helping individuals build accountability, develop healthier coping skills, strengthen support systems, and work toward meaningful change. My areas of focus include trauma, PTSD, anxiety, grief, anger, emotional distress, aggression, and other concerns that may interfere with daily functioning and overall well-being.

I help clients understand and process difficult experiences, develop coping strategies, improve emotional awareness, and recognize that they do not have to navigate their struggles alone. My approach is client-centered, compassionate, direct, and sensitive to each individual’s unique needs and experiences. No one knows you better than you know yourself.

Taking the first step toward change may feel uncomfortable, but you do not have to take that step alone. There is always hope for growth, healing, and positive change. I am here to guide, support, and empower you throughout your journey toward greater understanding, healthier coping, emotional well-being, and meaningful personal growth.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending quality time with my family, watching movies, taking road trips, scrapbooking, and finding creative ways to build lasting memories together. I also enjoy being open to spontaneous and unexpected activities that bring happiness, laughter, and new experiences. For me, some of the best memories come from simply being present, enjoying the moment, and making time for the people I love.

Erica Garcia

MS, Counselor

Hi, I’m Erica Garcia, a clinical mental health counselor who believes everyone deserves a safe, supportive space to feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I have worked in the behavioral health field for over 12 years and have held a variety of roles supporting individuals and families. These experiences have shaped my passion for helping others and ultimately led me to pursue a career in therapy.

I use a client-centered approach as the foundation of my work, meeting each client where they are, and supporting them at their own pace. I also incorporate strength-based and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approaches to help clients recognize their strengths, understand their thoughts and emotions, develop healthy coping skills, and work toward their individual goals.

I work with children, teens, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, suicidal thoughts or ideation, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem concerns, relationship and family challenges, and life stressors.

I began working at STBH in 2023 and have continued to grow my experience supporting individuals and families through a variety of emotional and life challenges. I earned my Master’s degree in Psychology with a focus in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand Canyon University.

My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where clients feel respected, supported, and comfortable being themselves. I believe therapy is a journey, and I am here to walk alongside each client as they navigate life’s challenges, build confidence, and create meaningful change at their pace. I believe that asking for support is a sign of strength, not weakness. You do not have to have everything figured out before beginning counseling. My goal is to meet you where you are, walk alongside you through the process, and help you recognize your strengths while creating space for growth and healing.
