Dan Brewer, LCSW

Clinical Director

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 20 years of experience in mental health, program development, and behavioral health services. For the past 16 years, I have been proud to be part of San Tan Behavioral Health Services (STBHS), where I currently serve as the Clinical Director. In this role, I oversee program development, clinical policies, and service implementation, ensuring high-quality, cost-effective care.

STBHS is a special place for mental health services because of its deep commitment to client-centered care, community collaboration, and innovative treatment approaches. Our organization prioritizes accessibility, ensuring that individuals and families receive the support they need without unnecessary barriers. We foster a compassionate, strength-based environment where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered in their healing journey. STBHS is not just a provider of care, it is a place where people find hope, build resilience, and transform their lives.

My expertise includes strategic program planning, building community partnerships, and expanding service accessibility for youth and adults. I am passionate about creating impactful mental health programs that address the evolving needs of our community.

Beyond my professional work, I am an endurance athlete, competing in Ironman triathlons and ultra marathons. I also take great pride in supporting my children in their athletic pursuits, including soccer, water polo, and basketball.

I hold a Master of Social Work from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from Montana State University. My commitment lies in developing effective behavioral health programs, fostering community collaboration, and promoting resilience in individuals and organizations.
